Artist Profile

About Shannon Connolly

Shannon Connolly is an established student illustrator and graphic designer from Connecticut now based in Pennsylvania. Connolly mainly works digitally with Adobe Suite products but is also skilled in analog illustration with colored pencils. Connolly graduated from Wheaton College with a double major in Creative Writing and Visual Art in May 2020.


Her first freelance job was designing a historical timeline for New Horizons in honor of a recent renovation and ribbon cutting. Connolly also designed several posters, bookmarks, and other prints for the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington CT when she interned there during the summer of 2019.


"Legacy" is Connolly’s second book project, her first being a picture book titled Me, Myself, and the Private I. Post-graduation, Connolly was contracted to illustrate "Mask Up" for Bridget Roberts, a child psychologist. Together, they self-published the children's picture book and sold out the first four printings of the book.

Currently, Connolly is working with another private writer to illustrate their first chapter book, "The Unity Project." Character designs can be seen in her portfolio.

Connolly's current full-time job is as an Assistant Account Manager at Entourage Yearbooks in New Jersey. There, she is responsible for designing yearbook clip art, cover designs, and page layouts for her manager's customers as well as general administrationduties.
